MIDDLE EARTH
hear the morning whistle in the wind and the sun
everything forgotten became one and one
here in the valley of forgotten birth
it's mystical with challenges
they call it middle earth
goblins, dwarves, and mystical elves
if you're smart, you'll watch yourself
lightning strikes up on the hill
after that, everything is still
in middle earth
fire with electric sparks
come shooting from the sky
you can't eve stop to think
or ask the reason why
spears and daggers, bows and arrows
shooting from the strights and narrows
you have just entered a world
they call it middle earth
silver, gold, platinum, and gems
all from the dragon's hoard
to conquer something that terrific
takes more than a sword
it takes cleverness, intelligence
and dexterity
to find your way though middle earth
fire with electric sparks
come shooting from the sky
you can't eve stop to think
or ask the reason why
spears and daggers, bows and arrows
shooting from the strights and narrows
you have just entered a world
they call it middle earth
you wake up back in your bed
aren't you glad you're not dead
though you think it's only a dream
that's just only what it seems
you go back to middle earth
just to witness your rebirth
don't you know how much you're worth
in middle earth
part of you think your eyes deceive
but the other half does believe
don't you know you can never leave
middle earth
fire with electric sparks
come shooting from the sky
you can't eve stop to think
or ask the reason why
spears and daggers, bows and arrows
shooting from the strights and narrows
you have just entered a world
they call it middle earth

Lay Down Your Arms

LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS
we send our young men off to war
defending our ideals
no cheers, no pride, when they return
and few know how it feels
it's a wound that never heals
lay down your arms
in the past, we were asked
for the ultimate contribution
no right to choose, win or lose
in somebody's revolution
there's got to be a better solution
lay down your arms
we must create peace on earth
so brother take brother in hand
end the death, observe the birth
of the brotherhood of man
it's time to take a stand
lay down your arms

Dust And Ashes

DUST & ASHES
how much do you want?
how hard will you work to get it?
that's what the old man said
coz it's all coming down
we can't just stand around
and wait for the dust to clear
dust and ashes
fade in the dim lit sky
how can you sit here
and not know what's going on?
the air seems filled with fear
you go on with your life
know not the sting of a knife
we cry out but you can't hear
dust and ashes
fade in the dim lit sky

Laughter

LAUGHTER
i see a camera
thrill - chill
a frozen spot in time
a smile is forever
a mountain we all climb
memories washed away
like the chill of an
autumn wind
my past has come
to haunt me
in this postcard that i send
send a letter
i need to know where you stand
life is a simple game
when we all go hand in hand
alone on a desert isle
i sit by the fire
and laugh a while
i can still remember
the wind would blow
we'd sit alone
i know, i know, i know
that time has passed me by
like a stranger in a crowd
the way we laughed at a time before
would never be allowed
send a letter
i need to know where you stand
life is a simple game
when we all go hand in hand
i know i might be late
but my time will never come
alone, i am divided
under the sun
under the river
where we both swam
under the lifeline
oh, how we ran
we ran - don't look back
if we can, we'd fade
it all to black
send a letter
i need to know where you stand
life is a simple game
when we all go hand in hand
i know i might be late
but my time will never come
alone, i am divided
under the sun
send a letter
i need to know where you stand
life is a simple game
laughing all alone
laughter - laughing all alone

April Rose

APRIL ROSE
april rose on a garden wall
spinning in the evening
at the candlelight ball
fortune measures higher
than the five foot snow
her rain, falling down
on the houses below
pedal on a medal
with a crimson bow
dancing in the aisles
of the dead show
barefoot fantasy
field of fire
pointing her nose
higher and higher
skid across the world
on a bed of ice
gonna wind up dead
if you don't think twice
my april rose, my april rose
slipping like a tourniquet
and cryin' aloud
she don't act guilty
but she don't act proud
fittin' in loose
with her gelatin hat
don't know how to get there
but she knows where it's at
askin' me questions
i don't know what to say
flyin' down south on a saturday
my april rose, my april rose
where am i now? god only knows
but if i crawl i might make it home
my april rose, my april rose
thinkin' like a baby
and actin' like a nun
i don't need another helping
i just had thirty one
got a pocket full of dynomite
i'm blowin' up the joint
the ace of spades is loaded
and it's not polite to point
gettin' tired in the desert
i don't know what to do
i guess i'll have another
and just think of you
my april rose, my april rose
what should i do, god only knows
but if i stand, i might not get home
my april rose, my april rose
the black sun of the navajo
is sweatin' on my back
all my guns are loaded
and i'm ready for attack
and now another greenville
and another magic mart
i got a half a pack of camels
and a cherry pop tart
roll a pair of sevens
the ace is flying high
if i miss the train to lexington
i know i'm gonna die
my april rose, my april rose
will we ever make it? god only knows
but if we wait, we'll make it home
my april rose, my april rose
april rose shining
like a galaxy to me
hangin' on the mountaintop
forgettin' about me
clear across the sand
i see the tracks she left behind
another hill to battle
and another gear to grind
send me up to heaven
coz i know what i'll do
conquer me a palace
i'll be waitin' for you
my april rose, my april rose
do you think about me? god only knows
when we're together, i'll carry you home
my april rose, my april rose

This track is nothing more than part of "Sun 621", played in reverse. For this new remaster I have taken it a step further and added all sorts of effects and stuff, to further weird up this track. Bizarre as hell but much better for it now.

SIGN OF THE CROSS
so you ask again
what do you know?
did you look around
you and your head?
did you look around
for the message?
did you look around
the the dead?
did you look away
coz i don't know?
did you fry and melt
like i said?
i don't know this
i can never be sure
why do you trust it?
another bloody whore
tell me anything
that i don't know
so you ask me now
why do i care?
i say, you look
so incapable
standing there
with your arms out
standing there so full
is it something i said?
do you know your name?
why do you buy this come-on?
tell me anything that i don't know
did you look upon that number
flashing across the screen
and the man with the funny hairdo
on man, it's so serene
can you feel it?
how can you be so sure?
you're a fool
your back is on the floor
tell me anything that i don't know

Chris Anderson Alexandria, Virginia
I made my first album in 1992 and I just can't quit. This site collects what came before my recording style changed in 2008.
These are the records that shaped and guided me to the music I make now. Often flawed, always right. Newly remastered, with tons of bonus tracks, this catalog is my life story. A musical memoir in real time, ragged and as rough as I.
